Thought I would show a night shuttle launch for you. The pic was taken about 90 miles north of the Cape.
Cool pic. Mine was taken 6 miles away with a 300mm lens. It was an awesome sight.

From where I live I have had the opportunity see many of the launches, even Challenger which was a really sad. The night launches are just awesome. They are better than any fireworks show I've ever seen. The pic I posted does not do any justice to the event at all ! Most of the time they arc northward and we can feel the rumble plus see the show.
Well spike how are you doing, its glad to see you here as well as the others.
